The object of the work is the creation of unified mechanism of media-fingerprint creation and media-search by fingerprint system, DIVAS architecture development and DIVAS project components implementation.

In this work you can find review of public media-search services, review of video fingerprint generation algorithms. Also you can find description of architecture developed and all implemented components.

Research of fingerprint creation based on face detection

The object of the work is the creation of algorithm for indexing video, based on face detection.

Result of the work is a DirectShow filter, that provides face detection and tracking, and DIVAS plug-in, that indexes video.

Field of application – DIVAS plug-in which can be applied in software, that is designed for multimedia indexing.

Purpose of work is development and realization of indexing algorithms of multimedia data.

One algorithm for indexing of every frame and two algorithms for search of scene changes were developed and created. Application for automatic selection of parameters for dynamic libraries which find scene changes was developed and created.
