StreamEye Pro includes many new modules that are synchronized to show
every possible stream parameter and provide additional diagnostic
information on video frames. Raw Data module retrieves uncompressed
data from file and visualizes it, allowing comparative analysis of
video alterations after encoding. It performs video data metric
calculations, such as PSNR and EPSNR, which is capable of estimating
video quality without the source stream.
Buffer
Analyzer, which is used for building and visualizing a VBV chart for
the current stream, and YUV Viewer (Raw Data module), previously
working as stand-alone applications, are now integrated as modules
within the main program, speeding up the whole process of analysis
and eliminating the need for running other applications. Coefficients
Info module determines encoding criteria and efficiency of selected
encoding algorithms, and can be used when writing a new encoder or
testing prediction algorithms.
Buffer Analyzer
Buffer Analyzer window builds and visualizes a VBV (video buffering
verifier) chart for the opened stream
Coefficients Info
Coefficients Info window shows different macroblock coefficients
Headers Info
Headers Info window shows the following header structures for the
current frame
Histogram
Histogram window shows YUV component histograms for the selected
frame.
Hex Viewer
Hex Viewer window shows the opened file content in binary,
hexadecimal and ASCII modes.
MB Info
MB Info window shows information on macro blocks in MPEG-1/2/4 and
AVC/H.264 streams.
Picture Info
Picture Info window shows current frame statistics: macroblock count,
frame size excepting headers data size (total size of the mackroblocks,
bits [bytes]), transform coefficients data amount (bits [percentage in
the frame size]), motion vectors data amount (bits [percentage in the
frame size]), maximum mackroblock size (bits [mackroblock address]),
maximum and minimum values of the motion vector components (X and Y
[mackroblock address]).
Raw Data
Raw Data module reads raw data from file and visualizes it. The
module allows comparative analysis of video alterations as a result of
the encoding process. The module performs video data metric
calculations, such as PSNR.
Stream Info
Stream Info window shows stream type (MPEG-1/2/4 or AVC/H.264),
resolution, profile, level, aspect ratio, frames count, duration,
framerate (real and declared), declared bitrate and bit allocation
(maximum, minimum and average).
Video window
Video window visualizes currently opened video stream.
Zoom
Zoom window shows video frame on a large scale (32:1). The window
allows visualization of a macroblock grid and YUV pixel value.
